“The Dummy of the day is…ME!” February 26, 2009

Hello there!
Well, you know that Magic Morning guy Chris McCoy does his “Dummy of the Day” at 7:20 each morning…I am telling you that I’ll be the DOD for tomorrow…
Why?
I went to get coffee at Dunkin Donuts this morning, and realized that my debit card was in the pocket of my coat that I wore YESTERDAY! Doh!!
How many times has something like this happened to you?
My hubby always tells me “You shouldn’t leave your cards in your coat pocket!” I always yes him to death, but this was one of those times where I should have taken his advice.
Has anything like this ever happened to you?
Please tell me I’m not alone in being the “Dummy of the Day!”

PS: The office coffee isn’t as good…I’ll be sure to remember my card tomorrow!!
I once invited my good friend to lunch as my treat. After we finished eating and the check came I realized I didn’t have my wallet with me. After a good laugh she paid the bill. After another lunch I went out to my car to find the motor running–for 1 hour!!!!! I’ll think about skipping lunch. We all do dumb things ever so often.
