“You look the same!” April 23, 2009

Okay, Magic listener…I’m throwing this out there, and want your input!
I’ve ran into a lot of people I haven’t seen in awhile on facebook, and most of them have said the same thing: YOU LOOK THE SAME!
Part of me thinks, “Okay, maybe that’s a good thing” but then I start to think about my extra “weight” I carried around at one time, and the bad hair we all had back in the day…and it makes me wonder!
Then, I actually saw a girl from high school on Tuesday night, and we haven’t seen each other in quite some time, and the first words out of her mouth were “You look the same!”
Okay, so now people are saying it after seeing me in person too! Makes ya scratch your head a little, no?
So…my question is…does this happen to you, and what do you make of it? I guess it’s a good thing, right?

When I look at old friends, I see them as the beautiful young women they were then. Perhaps aging has made our eyesisght poorer and we don’t see the wrinkles we now sport, or the extra lbs. we can’t get rid of … we just remember our friends as they were , even though for me – it’s over 40 years ago! It’s definitely a good thing!
